To build technical skill and ball efficiency for 1v1 dominance in a fun a player-centric environment.
Keys to Success:
– work in apposed situations as much as possible (1v1)
– Work on position-specific areas
– Work in two/three-week cycles
– Each cycle has a position and skill to be incorporated
Environment/Session design:
– Rondo – 15 mins to start every session. Progressions as needed
– 1v1 – 15 mins every session. Depending on the position is how the 1v1 would be played
– Skill development to promote the positional need or further that positions
– Check for understanding in a small-sided position specific game
– Open play teaming time
Details:
– One-hour session
– Friday nights
